Christmas Tree Stroll

We have always loved going to Disney Springs. If you live locally, it is the perfect location to go for a walk, browse some shops and dine at one of the many unique restaurants. If you are visiting from out of town or on a Disney Vacation, it can provide a much-needed break from the Parks.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the parks, but I am also a big fan of a planned rest day. Taking a day in the middle of your trip to unwind and recharge can be beneficial for everyone! Disney Springs is the perfect location for this rest day. There are plenty of activities both day and night to keep you entertained!

Spectacle of Lights

The holiday season at Disney Springs is beautiful. As you enter, you are immediately greeted by thousands of twinkling lights and decorated shops and walkways. As you browse the shops you can hear Christmas music playing in the background and feel the warmth of the holiday spirit.

Themed Trees from Holiday Classics

There are 20 decorated Christmas trees throughout Disney Springs. What sets them apart is that each tree is decorated after either a beloved Disney movie or a Disney entity that helps bring the magic to life. From Toy Story to Mickey and Minnie, Frozen and more, you will be sure to find one that’s your favorite! The attention to detail on each tree truly highlights the creative wonder that Disney works so hard to preserve.

If you are looking to complete the “official” Christmas Tree Stroll you will want to begin by picking up a tree map from a participating location. We picked ours up from Crystal Arts by Arribas Brothers.

You will use the provided stickers to “check off” each tree that you find and select its correct location on the map. We found it to be easy when you start at one end of Disney Springs and then work your way along the path.

My favorite tree was the Moana themed tree. Moana is my current favorite Disney movie and I think they did a great job of bringing the movie to life in the decorations. I just returned from Hawaii about a month ago from my honeymoon. We had a wonderful stay at Disney’s Aulani, and this tree was bringing back all the nostalgic feelings of vacation.

If you are interested in visiting or learning more about Aulani, you can read my review HERE.

Interactive Delights

The Christmas Tree Stroll is not just a visual experience, but an interactive one as well! If you are looking for more than just admiring the lights and decorations than be sure to bring your magic band! If you aren’t staying at a Disney resort or don’t have a magic band, you can purchase one at Pin Traders and Disney Style

Once you have your magic band, make sure to stop by the Nightmare Before Christmas tree and wave your hand in a circular motion for a surprise!

You can also interact with the following trees for an enhanced colorful experience.

  1. Encanto
  2. Frozen
  3. Mickey and Minnie
  4. Town Center
  5. Wish

Photo Opportunities

There are plenty of opportunities for beautiful holiday photos throughout Disney Springs. Each tree serves as a perfect backdrop for your Christmas card or newest favorite family photo. If you’re looking to take some great pictures, I recommend taking the stroll earlier in the day when there is still good lighting. Bring along your phone or camera and you can have a free photoshoot!

Whether you’re posing with your favorite character-themed tree or capturing the joyous atmosphere around you, the stroll offers countless chances to document the holiday spirit!

Overall:

The Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs is a heartwarming celebration of the holidays. It combines the magic of Disney and the joy of Christmas.

Whether you’re a long-time Disney fan, Orlando local or a first-time visitor, the stroll offers a magical journey through a twinkling wonderland that will leave you with cherished memories and a renewed sense of holiday cheer.

Grab your loved ones and immerse yourself in the festive ambiance as you embark on a delightful Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs – where the magic of the season comes to life in the most enchanting way possible.
